The sun has set, and cool air trickles into the valley. It feels like fall. I'm ready for the leaves to turn shades of yellow, red and orange.
Maybe it's time for jeans and tennis shoes and to say goodbye to the flip flops for a while.
I'm ready for life to slow down and take a breath.
I'm ready for the smell of warm cookies on a cold day.
I want a few unread books on my shelf and some mint tea. What could be better?
Things are changing and I'm ready for the change.
Now that the busy summer is officially over, things can slow down again.
This is when writing becomes my hideaway. When the sun sets early in the evening, I escape into another world. Sometimes my stories, sometimes books.
Sometimes through conversations. I love this time of year. I think the cold weather brings people together. Everyone getting a little closer to stay warm.

Fall is my favorite season. Ever. Since I can remember. I'm so ready for it! I fly to Colorado Thursday for a conference in Vail (my first ever) and I'm stressed so I feel as though I'm missing fall. It's bound to be beautiful in Vail though and once I'm back, it's all crispy campfires and sticky s'mores!
This is a unique perspective on fall I'd never thought of. Change and settling down. I rather like it.
Man...if only I lived in your world!! It sounds so romantical!!! My falls are so stinkin' busy!! I need to stop and smell the pumkins...!!
Ha ha, romantical. Yeah, I think I just slow down when it gets cold. I don't stress so much. I get things done, but relax while I'm doing it. I don't even know if that makes sense, but it's sort of how I work.
I recived the book last week or so and enjoyed it very much so thank you very much!!!
I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed Alvor. Kind of makes my day!
Thanks for sending your thoughts my way.
