Do you want to win a book?

My husband decided to do his own book giveaway with his own rules. This is all his idea, but I told him I would post it.

So, here's how it goes. It's easy. He is looking for comments from 25 DIFFERENT people- that is his first requirement. If there aren't enough comments, he doesn't give a book away.

To enter to win a free copy of Alvor (which my husband decided would be signed by him and me) all you have to do is leave a comment.

If you follow this blog, you get two entries. The most anyone can get is two entries.

The biggest catch is that there has to be 25 different people comment by the 25th of August. We will do a random drawing and announce the winner August 25th.

Post your comment by the end of the day August 24.

I already have a book (signed at Authorpalooza--thanks!), but I can think of a couple people I could give one away to. :)

I've already got a good chance of winning a signed copy of your book (Those who want double insurance should check out the giveaway that
http://thelateinergangbookreviewspot.blogspot.com
is holding at this moment), but I see that this contest will end earlier and the book will be signed by you and your husband (how extra special! ^,^), so please, sign me up for this contest!!!

You guys should have little problem getting 25 comments anyway. You almost have 25 followers to begin with. ^,^ Good luck!

Oh, and I checked out your website! VERY awesome. ^_^

Good luck with the giveaway. I heard it's a fun read, and would love a copy. I'll probably buy one anyway, so don't feel like you have to pick me. I'm just proud of you-- I aspire to someday publish my own fiction so it makes me really happy to see your success!

I would love, love, love a copy! I just put myself on a book buying ban because I was spending too much money. But I still need to feed the habit! And I've seen only 5 star reviews on amazon, which is all kinds of awesome.
And I'm always looking for books to review on my YA Review blog, so this would be perfect.
Plus extra points for already being a follower.

My sister-in-law tried to leave a comment but she doesn't have a google account so she asked me to put a comment for her. She is really excited to get this book for her 14 year old son.

AARGH, I have waited so long to post here. Not wanting to mess up the contest, I was waiting to be #26 but I just can't hold out any longer. ALL OF YOU WHO POSTED HERE TO WIN A COPY OF ALVOR: why have you not ran and told all of your friends and other fellow bloggers to come here and enter this contest?? Oh, it must be because you all are selfish and know how AMAZING ALVOR is and don't want to decrease your odds of winning. You better go and spread the word because the clock is a tickin. I was going to post a link on my site, but I didn't want to mess up your contest. 5 days left and if you guys aren't going to spread the word, I guess I'm just going to have to. Oh, and Laura, I'm jealous of the winner. I'm going to have to send my book back. "P" didn't sign mine!

I loved the book and I am planning on re-reading with the kids soon. I know a few people that would like a copy.

This is Laura's husband, one of the people Alvor is dedicated to, thus the reason for my contest and signature.

Congratulations to everyone! 25 different people and we even picked up some new followers. We really appreciate your support of Laura and Alvor. It is a great book. I read it to Jaden and the twins every night. They don't let me skip too easily. This is definately a book that lifts your heart and fills you with good. I am amazed at the talent of my beautiful wife every time I read it. I still get that buzz when I hit some parts that I sure probably only comes from a proud husband, but it is so neat to have it manifested to me. Laura is a gem as you all know, please share your feelings about her and Alvor with everyone you know. She wrote this book because of the passion she has for literature, but also because she wants to make a difference in the lives of others. Alvor will make a difference when it touches those that read it.

Thanks again you are all a great support and those that sent you here as well.

Laura,
We were in barnes and noble today and my older one (Lauryn) came up to me and said, "Dad, Look what I found!! Look what I found!!". I bet you can't guess which book she had in her hand. Then a girl was asking her mom to help her pick out a "cool" book to read and Lauryn marched right up to them, handed her the copy of ALVOR and said, "you should read this, its so cool, and my dad even knows the author!". I believe she sold a copy of ALVOR tonight.
